LAFAYETTE, LA – ACDA Principal Chad Abell announces the promotion of Jeff Gonsoulin to project architect. Gonsoulin has recently added licensed architect to his list of accomplishments. Leading up to his licensure, Gonsoulin worked to meet requirements set by the Louisiana Board of Architects and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards. One of those requirements includes passing the Architect Registration Examination, a national exam that tests the skills and aptitude needed for successful practice in the field.

As ACDA’s project architect, Gonsoulin works to drive new developments from initial programming to design and documentation. This role includes researching building code issues, processing contractor documentation, and helping construction work progress smoothly, which complements the engineering consultants and design team. As part of the ACDA team since 2013, Gonsoulin has completed recent design work on the Southside High School and the University of the Louisiana at Lafayette Russo Park baseball complex.

A native of New Iberia, LA, Gonsoulin received his bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He is also a member of the American Institute of Architects South Louisiana Chapter.
