Matt Baker

As a member of the Abell + Crozier Architects team since 2007, Matt's primary role as a Project Manager is to integrate the ideas and requirements of the client and design team into a set of comprehensive and coordinated documents. Additionally, he has taken a special interest in the research and implementation of Building and Life Safety Codes and the smooth navigation of projects through the code review process of each project’s unique jurisdiction. Matt's involvement in a majority of projects begins at inception and extends through drawings and construction.

Matt serves as the lead architect for one of the firm’s high-profile projects: the renovation and expansion of the baseball stadium at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. As he prepared to design the facility, he talked extensively to fans, following the firm’s commitment to client and community engagement.

He earned both his Bachelor of Science in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture degrees from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
